INTERIOR DESIGN COURSES IN A
SURREY COUNTRY HOUSE
The mini course is a condensed version of the semi-professional three day course. It involves a half-day, one-to-one lesson in the Surrey country house. The key elements of good design are explained and illustrated, and a mood board with co-ordinated fabrics created as part of that process. Learning is then completed at home with the help of an A3 studio case which explains the professional route to design from planning, to colour schemes, to the rules about lighting and more. It is in essence....a two day workshop 'in a bag' for those wanting to design their homes themselves.
Featured in House & Garden magazine's Insider News and registered with the Patent Office, the case includes a booklet explaining the principles of interior design and decoration, a sample mood and fabric board, a colour wheel imported from the States, a cuttings book, and enough card to complete two more room schemes.
The morning (or afternoon) and the case, put you on the right track to good design and reduce the chances of making expensive mistakes. Coffee and pastries (or tea and cake) is served and everything is prepared to fit around your specific requirements. Further details are available on request.
